Jack N’ Jill Natural toothpaste review.

Hello everyone! Today I will be trying a new toothpaste I haven’t heard of it before. I received it in my daily goodie box (company that sends out samples free for trial in return of your honest opinion).

Jack N’ Jill has been manufacturing since 1949 and is a company from Australia. Thats probably why I may have never heard of it.I received the Jack N’ Jill Natural Toothpaste in the flavor Raspberry. 

I got it in a 1.76 oz tube which is perfect for travelling. I have tried it and I must say I was impressed with the results. I have never tried flavored toothpaste so I was skeptical at first but it definitely tastes like Raspberry with a very slight hint of mint.It is in the form of a clear gel. It can be used by persons aged 6 months or older. 

It is organically certified flavored and Calendula! Fluoride free with no preservatives and safe to swallow. No color added. So I would probably recommend it mostly for kids just because its safer. 

As for the results of breath and tooth results. I followed the instructions on the tube which is brush twice daily with minimum pressure in circular motions. Given a 1-10 results I would give it an 10. It did a good job cleaning my niece’s  tooth and having fresher breath.It is an absolutely wonderful toothpaste given that it has so many positive things about it.

Saint Patrick’s festive recipes!

Happy Saint Patty My peeps! As you can tell by the title I am going to search and compile some simple recipes & ideas so you can decide whether you like them or not or if you actually want to make any of em. The choice is all yours! So shall we begin? Let’s get green!

pancakes

Who doesn’t love pancakes? Especially a green one! Yum yum🤗

yield: 4

 

total time: 20 MINUTES

Ingredients:

• 1 cup milk
• 2 TB white vinegar
• 1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
• 2 TB sugar
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 2 TB melted butter
• 1 egg
• 1/2 tsp vanilla
• green food coloring

Directions:

Pre-heat a griddle to 300°.
In a small bowl combine milk and vinegar. Set aside and let sit for a few minutes.
In a large bowl combine flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
Whisk butter, egg and vanilla into the milk. Add food coloring, and stir until you reach the desired color.
Combine with flour mixture and stir until smooth.
Use a 1/4 cup to pour batter onto a greased griddle. Let cook on one side until bubbles begin to pop, then flip to the other side. Cook just until golden brown.

Every once in awhile I’ll throw some lucky charms in the batter to really take these Saint Patrick’s Day pancakes over the top. It’s also fun to top them with whipped cream and the marshmallows too. Hello sugar!

Green chocolate chip cookies.

Prep Time:10 minutes

Cook Time:10 minutes

Total Time:20 minutes

Yield:18 medium cookies

Ingredients

• 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/2 cup butter, softened
• 3/4 cups white sugar
• ½ of one jumbo egg
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 3 drops of green gel food coloring (Increase or decrease according to your preference)
• 1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
• ¼ cup green chocolate chips ( substitute with mint chocolate chips if you want)

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). I used non-stick cookie sheet , if you are using baking sheet line with parchment paper. In a small bowl, stir together flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Set aside.
2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth. Make sure not to incorporate too air by beating to long. Beat in egg, food coloring and vanilla. Gradually blend in the dry ingredients. Stir in chocolate chips.
3. Roll dough into balls about one inch in diameter and flatten slightly to create round discs, and place onto ungreased cookie sheets.
4. Bake about 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden around the edges

You can also scoop some ice cream between two cookies to make a dessert sandwich!

Patty’s devilish eggs.

Ingredients 

• 12 Eggs
• Salt to taste
• Pepper to taste
• Green colouring

1. Boil eggs. Cool and remove shells. Cut lengthwise and remove boiled yolk. Add salt,pepper and two to three drops of coloring until desired shade of green.
2. Pipe yolk into egg halves. Enjoy!

Garnish with cubed/sliced avocadoes!

Meyers: Hand Lotion & Hand soap review!

Hello my cute pandas! Hope you are all enjoying a wonderful week.
 I am here to share with you my honest thoughts about two products from Meyers as mentioned in the title. I wasn’t aware of this particular brand until I received it through a campaign from crowdtap. ( Crowdtap is a website you do little polls, surveys & test out products for free for an honest review).

Mrs. Meyers aromatherapeutic household products has been manufactured since 2001 for cleaning purposes!

So let’s get start,shall we? First here is a picture of the first item.

It’s the hand lotion in the scent of the herb basil. Which also has Shea butter & almond oil in the mixture. I have received a 12 FL oz bottle and I must point out it really does have the scent of basil. It’s mild and not too high or distinct. It’s not a scent I adore or would go looking for in the store but it’s okay. It’s non-greasy and absorbs fast. Not too oily either. I like the fact that it comes with the pump applicator  for easy access especially when you are on the go. If I were to rate this item between a 1-10 scale I would probably give it an 8.

Moving on to the next item in question is none other than the liquid hand soap. So without further delay here is a picture

So there you have it. The hand soap is also in the scent basil incorporated with olive oil and Aloe Vera. I really enjoyed using the hand soap. It leaves my hands feel clean and fresh with a mild scent of basil which works great for me because I love to wash my hands a lot when I am in the kitchen cooking. It also has a pump applicator which is quite awesome! I would give the hand soap a 9 out of 10.

Generally Mrs. Meyers is a good brand simply because it is unique. It is made from plant derived ingredients. The bottles are made with at least 30% post consumer plastic and it is not tested on animals. You can checkout their website at WWW.MRSMEYERS.COM for more info.
